asheville climate collider
I was honored to help produce a video for the Asheville Climate Collider in collaboration with the Climate Listening Project for the NC Spaces for Innovation Challenge. The Collider will be an entrepreneurial business and education workspace in Asheville NC to serve the growing local and global climate services economy through stimulating creative collisions and strategic solutions for climate adaptation and resilience.
Asheville is home to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Climatic Data Center (NOAA and NCDC) and 16 Nobel laureate climate scientists, in addition to Climate Interactive climate think tank, Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites (CICS-NC), National Environmental Modeling Analysis Center (NEMAC)…. and has become a center for entrepreneurship, climate education, and innovation. Asheville played a major role in creating the 2014 National Climate Assessment and GlobalChange.gov, as well as Climate.gov and the new U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit.
Video credits include Kurt Mann and Climate Alive, Andrea Desky and K23 Media, D3 Studio, bueno box, and 2Bruce Studio, and many other collaborators and contributors, with thanks to all featured in the video! Coming to The Callen Center, The Collider is a project of ABSCI, Asheville. Details at AshevilleCollider.com.
