international trailer premiere at the collider in asheville
I hosted a Climate Listening Project event at The Collider, an innovative new space for climate services and solutions. We released a new Climate Listening Project trailer, website, and logo.
The event also featured special guest, Danna Smith, Dogwood Alliance Co-Founder & Executive Director. Plus, Climate Scientist Deke Arndt. And, Climate Listening Project advisers: Luis Martinez Marti, Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Tom Tribble, Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society, and Laura Lengnick, Resilient Agriculture and Cultivating Resilience.
Attendees and collaborators wrote the nicest feedback after the event saying:
“Amazing event!”
“We are so inspired by you and your amazing work!”
“It was an honor! I so admire you and your work.”
“Thanks for the lovely event, and all your good work.”
“So inspired by the event, the stories, and the power of images to tell stories! Keep your momentum because I can’t wait to watch the next steps – we’re all a part of the story!”
“Fantastic all around, Dayna Reggero!”
“What an amazing event!”
“Awesome event… Love what you are doing.”
Voiceover: “Our documentary team and expert advisers filmed across the United States. We traveled to Paris for the international Climate Talks. And then we went to Belize to follow the story of a bird that is connecting people around the world. We’ve been following these connectors: a bird we love, the food we eat, our faith, families, and businesses — the things we care about, the things we need. We listened to business owners, resilient farmers, climate scientists, faith leaders and community members. And, as more and more people and groups showed up, it became about connection and collaboration, sharing these hopeful conversations so many of us want to be having about our global community. We are the Climate Listening Project. We’re not trying to convince anyone that climate change is real, we’re just showing the real people impacted by climate change and the real people creating solutions. People like you. People like me. Let’s listen.”
Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me. It has been an honor to be doing this work. Thank you to you – all the stars, collaborators, and friends of the Climate Listening Project.
And, many thanks to K23 Media, Dogwood Alliance, Forsyth Audubon, National Audubon Society, Cultivating Resilience, MountainTrue, Accelerating Appalachia, and Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), plus event partners: The Collider, Renaissance Asheville Hotel, Flying Frog Films, French Broad Chocolates, Highland Brewing Company, and Sweet Monkey Bakery.
