new climate listening project video: faith in solidarity with pope francis
We are so excited to release this new Climate Listening Project video, sharing voices in solidarity with Pope Francis and all faith leaders who are addressing climate change impacts and solutions. The Climate Listening Project is a collaborative storytelling platform for conversations about climate change resilience. This new video features people of various faiths, families, a leading climate scientist, Luis Martinez Marti of Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Anna Jane Joyner of Showtime’s Years of Living Dangerously, Rev. Sally Bingham of Interfaith Power & Light and many more who are cultivating climate change resilience with conversations on faith for people and places already dealing with climate change impacts around the world and for future generations.
“The church, taking such strong steps, such leadership steps, to tell everybody that we need to act as stewards of the environment fills me with pride and just reinforces my belief that we can overcome these problems together.”
– Luis Martinez Marti, NRDC
